Grimes County Greys
Sons of Confederate Veterans - Camp #924
Named for the men of Company G., 4th Texas Volunteer Infantry Regiment, Army of Northern Virginia, CSA; the Grimes County Greys is a heritage organization devoted to the preservation of the memory of Southern Soldiers from Grimes County, Texas and the surrounding area.
The Grimes County Greys accomplishes its purpose through the maintenance of a Confederate Heritage Plaza and by actively participating in events throughout the Grimes County Area.
The Greys meet on the 4th Tuesday night of every month (except for December and January) at 7 PM in the Annex Building of the Grimes County Courthouse. Everyone interested in Southern Heritage is invited to attend a Greys meeting.
Membership in the Greys requires that the applicant be of good moral character and that he have ancestor who served honorably in the Confederate Military Service.
