Billy Surface, Camp Commander

Billy Surface is a heavy equipment contractor in Singleton. Billy is a long time resident of Grimes County and Graduate of Iola HS.  Billy owns and sponsors the "2s" Sons of Confederate Veterans Racing Monte Carlo, he also enjoys hunting, fishing and gardening.

Mark Montgomery, Lt. Commander

Marke is a charter member of the Grimes County Greys and past Color Sergeant. Marke works performing computer support for the Texas prison system. He made his way to Houston, Texas after graduating from Francis Marion College in South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology and Math. He has been a resident of Grimes County since the early 80's.

Malcolm Green graduated from the University of Houston with a B. S. in Business. He retired from Shell Oil Co. after 33 years and currently runs a cattle operation near Navasota. Malcolm is Chairman of the Grimes County Appraisal Board and Director of the Navasota I.S.D. Education Foundation.  

An active member of the Grimes County Historical Society and Chairman of the Anderson, Texas Historical Society, Marcus Mallard is a walking encyclopedia of local historic knowledge. He is responsible for the maintenance of several historic sights in Grimes County.
